On Nine-Eleven 1857, over 100 emigrants were slaughtered in the Mountain Meadows Massacre in Utah. On Nine-Eleven 2011, over 3,000 Americans were killed in the word terrorist attack in our history. All of these events, and others on the same day, are being manipulated by the SHADOW in an attempt to change our history. It is up to the Time Patrol to send an agent back to six different years on Nine Eleven and make sure our timeline remains intact. If they fail, our present will snap out of existence!

Another great book by Bob Mayer. He certainly knows how to get your attention and fast. The thing I like about the Time Patrol Series is that it is action packed and makes you think about the story so you don't miss anything. This book tells the story of September 11 in a number of periods of time. It mentions 9-11-2001 but that segment of the story takes place on the other side of the world with brief mentions of the occurrence in the United States. Great job Bob!Product details

One of my favorite series from Bob. I have read 17 of his books and am looking forward to his next in the time patrol series.
Kind of hard to follow what was going on. Definitely need to read the rest of the series. What I found intriguing was how the author presented time travel in a way I haven't seen before.
Mayer brings his trademark interwoven plotlines and well-drawn characters to his Time Patrol series. Mayer has made himself one of my new addictions. His historical depth reminds me of the late great Poul Anderson.
after not reading one of the books while the next one was written I had kind of forgotten all the characters..now it all comes back, other stories (timelines) are now becoming coherent. Strange as it seems all is coming into focus. Now to go read the newest spinoff regarding Lara the strange new character..
I enjoyed the book very much. I do like time travel and this is sort of a different take on it. The only criticism that I have of the book is that it gets sort of confusing jumping back and forth in the different time frames. I can't help thinking that there could be a less confusing way to organize the book.
Poor editing... Again! Bad grammar, misspelled words, incorrect punctuation, and even the wrong character name in a paragraph. The number of mistakes in this series really detracts from enjoying the story.
Yeehaa! Great job. Worth waiting for. for those not familiar (books sometimes read out of order). Multiple timelines,the Shadow is trying to destroy ours. We don't know why, who/what it is, it attacks by creating a time "bubble" lasting 24 hours on the same date in 6 different years, attempting to change the events and change or destroy our timeline. This time, dates included the attack on 911 and the the battle in the Teutoberg Forest in Germany among others. (I'm interested in Roman history so that was great.) The Time Patrol must send members back to try to prevent change, but sometimes not enough is really known as to what REALLY happened to guide them. Great job. One nitpick...The An-225 did not lift 250,000 tons, it should've read 250,000 kg, or abour 550,000 pounds. Another comment, gratis, mention of a B-25 hitting the Empire State Bldg in New York city in 1945 in heavy fog. Odd but true...We were living in NYC then and my dad took me down next day to see the hole in the building. Great job!
